Instructions
1. Entering Batch and BBD in Freshdesk
- Batch number field: Add Lot number, Product number, and production time/date. If it is the production date instead of time, please use the same format for date as for BBD below (DD/MM/YY)
- BBD field: Add Best Before Date in DD/MM/YY format.
- Example:
Batch info: L2238 82627 18:42 BBD: 03/07/25
2. Correct date format
- Always use DD/MM/YY.
- Correct format:
- 03/07/23
- Incorrect formats:
- 3/7/23
- 03.07.23
- July 3rd 2023
3. Where to find batch details on products
Blade (8L)
- Batch info is printed on the keg.
- Example:
L3180 82627 08:21 28/03/24
- Lot number: First part (L3180) → Year and day of year.
- 3 = 2023
- 180 = day 180 → 29 June
- Product number: Second part (82627) → Country and line code.
- 826 = UK
- 27 = Tadcaster line
Here are some examples of different formats on different Blade kegs:



Alfa 8L BLADE keg - batch details read as follows: L5049 300Q 09:35 18/11/25
In the picture below, you can see the batch information about a Heineken, Heineken 0.0% and Tiger Blade keg.

In this specific case, the keg information should be documented as follows:

Draft Keg (5L)
- Info located on the top plastic part of the keg.

4. Formatting rules
- Spaces between Lot number, Product number, and time/date.
- Example:
L2238 82627 18:42
Common problems
- Incorrect date format → Correct to DD/MM/YY.
- Missing production time/date → Request immediately.
