How long does it take to cool a keg?

If the barrel and the tap are at an ambient temperature of 20°C, allow approximately 15 hours to cool a 5 litre barrel to 4°C. We recommend putting your keg in the refrigerator for 10 hours before installing it in your machine, and turning on your machine in advance as well. Thus, the cooling time will be significantly reduced.
